ETHOS-2015 to be held today

In order to bring academicians and stakeholders in education industry onto a common platform and discuss various issues that affect the present education system, Markautus and The Hindu have teamed up to organise ‘Education Thought Leadership Summit — ‘ETHOS-2015’ — on Saturday.

‘Competition versus spirit of leaning’, ‘Should careers drive education or vice-versa?’ and ‘Technology enabled education: boon or bane?’ are the three themes that will be discussed during the conference. The themes are meant to strike a balance between technology-based education system and traditional one.

Keynote address, panel discussions, and open forum discussions will be part of the day’s session.

Andhra University, GITAM University, MVGR College of Engineering, ANITS College of Engineering, Lendi College of Engineering, Vignan Group, Avanthi College of Engineering, and Prism Degree College, Kendriya Vidyalaya (Waltair), Visakha Valley School, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Delhi Public School (Steel Plant), Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Little Angels School, Sri Krishna Vidya Mandir, Pollocks, Ramanath Secondary School, and Sri Chaitanya Group are expected to participate in the event.

The programme is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and go on till 4 p.m. at Hotel Green Park.
