The film to cover company's services and payment modes
To connect better to its customers spread over five districts, power distribution company APEPDCL will produce a documentary. The 30-minute film covers its customer centres, services, online complaints and payment modes. The main idea behind producing the documentary is to create better understanding and utilisation of EPDCL's services, says CMD Ahmad Nadeem. He launched the documentary by switching on the camera for the film titled “Vidyut Sevalu” at the EPDCL Corporate office here on Monday.
The shooting, covering important customer service centres, call centres and the circle offices in the five districts, is expected to take two weeks.
It will contain short bytes of the CMD and directors explaining the services and the avenues available for redress of grievances, say sources.
It explains the registration process for online payment of power bills as well as lodging complaints, particularly as redress of online complaints proved quite effective, says EPDCL sources.
The documentary being produced by the Corporate Communications Wing of EPDCL is being made Dreams Studios of Visakahpatnam.
Once the shooting over and editing completed, the film will be uploaded onto the EPDCL website and Youtube helping customers know better the services.
