State-level photography competitions will be organised in connection with the World Photography Day, according to a statement issued by the State Information Commissioner S. Venkateswara Rao.
The entries will be judged in three categories and there would be first, second and third prizes besides 10 consolation prizes in all three categories.
There will be cash awards of ₹ 20,000, ₹15,000 and ₹ 10,000 for the first, second and third prize winners respectively. The consolation prize winner will get ₹5,000 each.
The topics in category-1 are: Polavaram project, Pattiseema project, ‘Polam Pilustundi’ and traditional festivals of AP.
In category-2: Swachch Andhra Pradesh, NTR Housing scheme, ‘Chandranna Cheyutha’ and in category-3: news photographs.
The last date for submission of photographs is August 4.
