Entrepreneurship camp gets under way

A two-day entrepreneurship awareness camp began at Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology & Sciences (ANITS) on Monday. Andhra Pradesh Productivity Council, Hyderabad in association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Gandhinagar, Gujarat are the organisers. The event is sponsored by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, New Delhi. G Ramabhadra Rao, Senior Deputy Director, A P Productivity Council (Visakhapatnam), who was the chief guest, said e said in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts, about 6,000 people were assisted in getting loans from banks to start their own industry.

Personality development

ANITS also organised a programme on personality development – Champion of Change – on Sunday. K. Sunil Kumar, International Director of Lions International, was the architect of the programme. Sunil Kumar said one must have self confidence, and targets must be set high to be successful.

Principal V.S.R.K. Prasaed presided. R. Govardhana Rao, Director (Admn.), HODs, dean, faculty members and students attended.
