July 01, 2010 03:52 pm | Updated 03:52 pm IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

GVK EMRI 108 services thanked doctors for helping it to achieve great heights with their dedicated services to parents.

From inception till date 108 ambulance services have been able to save 68,000 lives in AP and 2, 08,000 lives throughout the nation.

EMRI has no hesitation in saying that this has been achieved only because of the unstinted and dedicated service of the doctors of our country.

The 108 Emergency processes are divided into 3 steps: Sense, Reach and Care.

The Call Centre senses the emergency by receiving the call, ambulance reaches the scene and then the most critical component in saving lives CARE, according to EMRI Regional Manager Hemanta Kumar Bhattu.
