Students aspiring for higher studies in Australia had an opportunity to interact face-to-face with Australian university delegates at IDP’s Australia Education fair conducted at Hotel Four Points by Sheraton here on Tuesday.

The event started with an interactive session by the Australian Deputy Consul – General for South India Jon Bonnar on the merits of studying in Australia.

More than 300 students from various colleges participated in the fair and met delegates and faculty members of 30 Australian universities and institutions.

From options of getting fee waivers to exploring scholarship opportunities, the students got a clear understanding of the process of applying for Australian universities and also submitted their applications.IDP is also conducting a similar education fair with USA and Canadian university representative on February 15 at Hotel Novotel.

A seminar on overseas education in Australia was also organised in association with The Hindu for students.
