ECoR to run special trains to Secunderabad to clear rush

The East Coast Railway is running special express trains to clear extra rush of passengers between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

From Feb. 10

Train No. 08503 will leave Visakhapatnam on Mondays from February 10 to March 24 (7 trips) at 7.05 p.m. and reaches Secunderabad at 7.50 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 08504 leaves Secunderabad on Tuesdays from February 11 to 25 (7 trips) at 4.30 p.m. and reaches Visakhapatnam at 6.30 a.m. the next day.

Another special train, No. 08501 will leave Visakhapatnam on Tuesdays from February 11 to March 25 (7 trips) at 11 p.m. and reaches Secunderabad at 11.45 a.m. the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 08502 leaves Secunderabad on Wednesdays from February 12 to March 26 (7 trips) at 4.30 p.m. and arrives in Visakhapatnam the next day at 6.45 a.m.

The above trains comprise one II AC, two III AC, nine sleeper class, six general second class coaches, and two second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches.

The trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, and Kazipet in both directions, according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division M. Yelvender Yadav.

AC superfast express

Train No. 02727 Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad AC special superfast express leaves Visakhapatnam on February 8 and 15 at 7.05 p.m. and reaches Secunderabad at 7.50 a.m. the next day.

Similarly, Train No. 02728 AC special superfast express will leave Secunderabad on February 7 and 14 at 10.10 p.m. and reaches Visakhapatnam at 10.35 a.m. the next day.

Train halts

This pair of trains will have one I AC, three II AC, and 11 III AC coaches, and halts at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Warangal, and Kazipet in both the directions.

Passengers have been asked to make use of these special train services.
