East Coast Railways cancels, reschedules trains

Several trains have been cancelled or rescheduled or diverted due to the cyclonic conditions in the East Coast Railway. Train No. 12835 Hatia-Yesvantpur scheduled to leave Hatia at 6.25 p.m. on Sunday runs as per schedule.

Train No. 12863 Howrah-Yeswantpur leaving Howrah at 10.35 p.m. on Sunday has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 6 a.m. on Monday. Train No. 12663 Howrah-Tiruchi scheduled to leave Howrah on Sunday at 4.10 p.m. is rescheduled to leave at 4.10 p.m. on Monday.

According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager M. Yelvender Yadav, the following trains have been cancelled:

Train No.11020 Bhubaneshwar-Mumbai Konark Express on Sunday; Train No. 12839 Chennai-Howrah scheduled to leave Howrah at 11.45 p.m. on Sunday; Train No. 17482 Tirupati-Bilaspur scheduled to leave Tirupati at 10.35 on Sunday; Train No. 18448 Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar leaving Jagdalpur on Sunday; Train No. 18438 Bhawanipatna-Bhubaneswar leaving Bhawanipatna on Sunday, and Train No. 18402 Okha-Puri on Sunday.

Passenger services on Palasa-Visakhapatnam-Palasa, Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram, Rayagada-Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam-Machilipatnam, Visakhapatnam-Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam-Durg, and Visakhapatnam-Raipur routes were resumed.
