East Coast Railway to run special trains for Puri rath yatra

East Coast Railway (ECoR) will run special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers for the rath yatra of Lord Jagannath at Puri.

Train No 08907 Visakhapatnam-Puri special will leave Visakhapatnam on July 5 at 1.20 p.m. to reach Puri the next day at 1.40 a.m. (early hours of July 6). Train No. 08908 Puri-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Puri on July 7 on 00.30 hours (midnight) and will reach Visakhapatnam the same day at 11.30 a.m. Train No. 08925 Jagdalpur-Puri special train will leave Jagdalpur on July 5 at 3 p.m. to reach Puri the next day at 11.30 a.m. Train No. 08926 Puri- Jagdalpur special train will leave Puri on July 6 at 4.30 p.m. and will reach Jagdalpur the next day at 12.45 p.m. Train No. 08907 Visakhapatnam-Puri will leave Visakhapatnam July 13 and reach Puri the next day at 1.40 a.m. (early hours of July 14).

Train No. 08934 Puri-Visakhapatnam will leave Puri on July 14 at 4.30 p.m. and will arrive in Visakhapatnam the next day at 2.30 a.m. (early hours of July 15), according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division M. Yelvender Yadav.

Train No. 08925 Jagdalpur-Puri special train will leave Jagdalpur on July 14 at 3 p.m. and reach Puri the next day at 11.30 a.m.

Train No 08941 Visakhapatnam-Puri special train will leave Visakhapatnam on July 15 at 6.30 a.m. to reach Puri the same day at 5.30 p.m. Train No. 08946 Puri-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Puri on July 15 at 11.30 p.m. and reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 11.30 a.m. Train No 08954 Puri-Jagdalpur special train will leave Puri on July 16 at 00.45 hours (early hours of July 17) to reach Jagdalpur the same day at 9.30 p.m.

Stoppages

Visakhapatnam-Puri-Visakhapatnam special trains will stop at Marripalem, Gopalapatnam, Simhachalam, Pendurthi, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Garividi, Chipurupalle, Sigadam, Ponduru, Dusi, Srikakulam Road, Urlam, Tilaru, Kotabommali, Naupada, Palasa, Sompeta, Ichchapuram, Brahmapur, Chatrapur, Ganjam, Khallikot, Chilika, Balugaon, Kuhuri, Kalupara Ghat, Bhusandpur, Nirakarpur, Khurda road junction, Motari, Delang, Bir Purushottampur, Sakhi Gopal and Malatipatpur.

Jagdalpur-Puri-Jagdalpur special train will have halts at Kotapar Road, Charamula Kusum, Jeypore, Koraput, Damanjodi, Laxmipur Road, Tikiri, Rayagada, Parvatipuram Town, Bobbili, Vizianagram Jn, Chipurupalle, Srikakulam Road, Naupada Jn, Palasa, Sompeta, Ichchapuram, Brahmapur, Chatrapur, Balugaon, Kalupara Ghat, Nirakarpur, Khurda Road, Motari, Delang, Bir Purushottampur, Sakhi Gopal and Malatipatpur.

The services of Train No.02853 Howrah-Ernakulam Suvidha Special train have been extended till November to clear the extra rush of passengers. It will leave Howrah on Saturdays at 5 p.m. to arrive in Visakhapatnam the next day (Sunday) at 6.45 a.m. and leave at 7.15 a.m. to reach Ernakulam on Mondays at 6 a.m.
