A group of 10 BBM students from Nyenrode New Business School, Amsterdam, were taken round a school project and an industrial visit by Round Table India 213 and 225.
Every year 50 students from BBA programme from the business school visit India to experience a different culture. They are split into groups of 10 and travel to various parts of the country and are hosted by Round Table India.
One group of students visited the city on Tuesday and Wednesday. Their curriculum of BBA requires taking part in a community activity. While in India, they also raise funds for service projects by involving in creative ways like auctions and fund-raiser dinners.
Round Table members took them to Kothavalasa and Kantakapalli. They interacted with students of a school, gave them gifts and understood the scope of the projects undertaken by Round Table. Later, they were shown the Greenfield facility of Sarda Metals & Alloys Ltd, located about 50 km from here and interacted with its Director Neeraj Sarda.
Round Table 213 chairman Sorabh Dhanuka, Round Table 225 chairman Raveen Garikpati and others accompanied the students.
