Specialists of all government, corporate and private hospitals in the city must make themselves available round-the-clock during all the days of the International Fleet Review, Collector N. Yuvaraj told the representatives of the hospitals on Friday.
The hospitals are also setting up 16 medical camps and providing 16 ambulances at the Ramakrishna Beach to meet any emergency during the IFR. Manipal Hospital will set up five medical camps, Apollo Hospital four, Care Hospital three, NRI Hospital and Seven Hills Hospital two each.
Spectators would be brought by special buses from AS Raja College to the Kamath hotel area since vehicles would not be allowed on the beach road from Kamath hotel. The IFR would be beamed live on LED screens to be set up at different places.
Joint Collector J. Nivas, Additional DCP (traffic) Mahendra Patrudu, Joint Collector-II D.V. Reddy, DMHO J. Sarojini, GVMC Zonal Commissioner III Y. Srinivas and other officials were given specific tasks.
As many as 150 officials have been appointed as coordinating officers for the Chief Ministers, Central Ministers and State Ministers and they will be given training.
