The concept of partying has taken on new meaning in the City of Destiny, as more and more youngsters and party animals are opting to start early on weekends, thanks to the early deadlines for the closure of bars, pubs and restaurants.

So, when there is a Sunday afternoon bash, it has to be a hit. To target the crowd looking for a chance to chill out in the weekend, Event managers Meadows organised the ‘Sunday Afternoon Bash' with Lady DJ Smitz from Mauritius at Dusk.

The foot-tapping music churned out by the DJ kept everyone on their toes. The crowd that was mostly a mix of people from colleges and young professionals enjoyed wholeheartedly to the fast and racy numbers. DJ Smitz, who was a runner-up at the War of the DJs-2010 that was held at Pune, maintained the tempo of the music to keep the spirits high.

The first event of Creative Meadows, an upcoming Marketing and Event Management firm, the organisers plan to conduct similar events in the near future to explore the party scene in the city.

“The idea is to reinvent the concept of partying and introduce new genres of music before the spirited crowd of the city,” said Naresh Jain of Creative Meadows.
