Discourse on ‘Bhagavatha Sudhalahari’

Eminent scholar Chaganti Koteswara Rao will deliver a discourse on ‘Bhagavatha Sudhalahari’ at Gurajada Kalakshetram from November 23 to 29.

As part of the programme, a ‘Sobhayatra’ will be organised from Sri Jagannadha Swamy temple at Utkal Samaj to the venue. Women participants will be given a ‘tulasi’ sapling for planting the same at the venue.

On November 29, ‘Govinda Pattabhishekam’ will be performed at the venue, according to Sri Chaganti Satsangham secretary P.A. Ramacharyulu and M.V. Ramana, managing director of CMR group, which is supporting the event.

Mr. Ramana said that the discourse by Sri Koteswara Rao was being organised since 2005.

He said that ‘Chaganti Vidya Puraskar’, instituted in memory of the scholar’s parents — Siva Rao and Suseelamma, will be presented to Ushasri Kiran on November 26.

The ‘Chaganti Puraskar’ will be presented to noted homeopathic doctor K.S. Sastry in recognition of his services.

Income-Tax officer V. Naga Surya Rao and tax practitioner M. Venugopal were present.
