The residents of KSR Green Valley celebrated Srinivasa Kalyanam with devotion and traditional fervour on Sunday.

The processional idols for the ‘kalyanam’ were brought by Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams. As part of the Srinivasa Kalyanam tradition the idols of Lord Srinivasa and his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken around the complex in a procession.

Devotees singing Annamacharya keertanas joined the procession. All the residents of KSR Green Valley and invitees participated in the function with great devotion. The celebration was organised by the KSR Green Valley Flat Owners’ Welfare Association with the help of TTD and Viswa Hindu Dharmaprachara Parishat.

Association president Vijaya Rama Rao and other members of the association played an active role in making the arrangements. Later, ‘Annaparasadam’ was distributed among all the devotees.
