If you are planning to design your sari or dress materials with danglers or floral borders, parsi-borders, laces and patchworks, an exhibition organised by Vyaktitva Boutique offers a whole range of trendy borders. The venue also has georgette designer dress materials with heavy zardosi work, netted long churidar with frills and cotton materials in bright and sober shades apart from kurtis, and patiala and chunni sets in floral prints.Women were seen checking chiffon saris with satin and crochet borders, Kota with big golden border, beautiful georgettes and party-wear super-net saris. Most of the creations were designed by Kolkata-based designer Swati Bajoria, said one of the organisers of the exhibition Shaleen. “Customers can order their own designer saris but that would take a minimum of 20 days to deliver and is accepted with an order of at least five saris,” he said.

By producing the paper cutting of the expo’s advertisement, one can avail discount from 10 to 30 per cent. There is 30 per cent discount on cotton dress materials that range from Rs.500 to Rs.1,200. Saris cost between Rs.700 and Rs.5,000 and has a discount of 20 per cent while the fair offers a 10 per cent discount on casual wear kurtis. No discount is available for designer wear dress materials and the range start from Rs.3,500.

The exhibition is on till February 16 at Khoobsurat Gallery, Pandurangapuram between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
