CSI young IT professional award contest final on October 16

The final of Computer Society of India (CSI) young IT professional award contest will be held here on October 16.

Twenty five contestants from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, forming region-V of CSI have submitted their scientific presentations.

The short-listed candidates will be called to give their presentations at the final round at Hotel Fortune Inn on October 16, CSI Visakhapatnam chapter secretary Paramata Satyanarayana said on Sunday.

A four-member jury drawn from reputed organisations will evaluate the presentations made by the IT professionals aged below 35 years. Those adjudged first, second and runner up will get cash awards of Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000 and Rs.10,000 respectively.

Mr. Satyanarayana said the topper at the regional level would get an opportunity to take part in the all India contest.

Toppers from seven CSI regions will participate in the national level contest.
