CRPF barracks inaugurated in Vizag

Improving the facilities for the troops at the headquarters of 198 Battalion of the CRPF here, a new barracks were inaugurated here by Inspector General, CRPF, South India, N.R.K. Reddy on Thursday.

The CRPF which has been given the place adjacent to District Police Stadium at Visalakshinagar cleared the hills and created space for new barracks.

The personnel of the CRPF themselves cleared the space and put up the structure at the base of the Kailasgiri hill. A small garden is also being established in the space adjacent the barracks to give the personnel a place to relax and get closer to the nature.

Mr. Reddy appreciated the location and the view from the barracks and expressed happiness at the effort of the personnel.

He congratulated Battalion Commandant Nisheet Kumar for the effort.

IG SIB V.C. Sajjanar, City Police Commissioner B. Shivadhar Reddy, Commandant CRPF Prasanna Kumar, deputy commandants, other officers and men of the CRPF Battalion were also present.
