The District Courts Complex housing the Criminal Courts Complex is overcrowded with courts functioning out of small rooms and lacks infrastructure as well as basic amenities. This is causing problems to the litigant parties. Further, the litigants are not allowed to use the lift in the peak hours and two of the three staircases are exclusively reserved for the presiding officers. The litigant parties suffer a lot in their attempt to reach the courts in time to avoid angering the presiding officer. There is neither provision of drinking water nor rest rooms for litigants, staff and advocates.

Clear encroachments

To keep the City of Destiny clean and green, one of the prerequisites is to vacate the encroachments on main roads and cellars are to be used only for parking. Even in residential areas especially in M.V.P colony, many residential premises are being put into commercial use by getting occupancy certificates with no proper verification lured by pecuniary gains. Before the State was brought under President's rule, political interference was put out as an excuse for the ineffective functioning of the GVMC officials. Unfortunately even during the last one month encroachments and misuse of cellars and also liberal issuance of occupancy certificates to residential premises built to suit commercial use are on the rise. Let the GVMC Commissioner take this opportune time to ensure that the city is destined to be a city of clean and green.

Symbol for NOTA

I appeal to the Election Commission to give a symbol for the NOTA option (to be displayed next to the button). This would help the social activists and the rebel candidates educate the illiterate and ignorant voters choose the button.
