Cool place to be in hot summer

A three-in-one summer camp organised by Vizag Seniors in association with Andhra University Evergreen Engineers caters to the needs of the down-trodden children living in slum areas. Comprising training classes like classical dance, embroidery, stitching, glass painting and pot painting, the camps are hosted at different places -- GVMC Primary Schools located at Peda Jalaripeta and Relli Veedhi apart from Urban Residential Hostel at Gandhinagar. Children from Classes II to X also treat themselves to a host of games like skipping, kho-kho, ring tennis and ‘kabbadi. Photos: C.V. Subrahmanyam.
