Plain-coloured silk saris embellished with a combination of embroidery and stone work, soft silk saris with thin golden border attached to an impressive pallu , printed silk saris in contemporary patterns, kora silk saris from Coimbatore and light-weight Kanchipuram sari with temple border are some of the creations that are in for the festive season. “ Ellorukum pattu (silk for all), an exclusive range of saris with textured zari borders, caters to all income groups and continues to be a big draw in Tamil Nadu. The demand for this collection is increasing mainly because the creations come with unique designs,” said P. Meenakesavarao, manager of the showroom.
