How nice it will be to cook without spending much time in the kitchen. Just chop the vegetables, put it in a steamer and switch it on, the food will be ready once you comeback after a pause. From soups to dal to curries, the electric steam cooker provides a hassle-free cooking experience.

Latest home appliances, electronic items, furniture and kitchen gadgets are on display at an expo organised by India International Consumer Fair (iicf) at Hotel Novotel.

Close to 80 stalls showcase home appliances and other products from Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Whirlpool, Sony, Prestige, Voltas, Juki India Pvt Limited, Usha, Toshiba, Canon, IFB and other brands. For those who want to renew their kitchen, Elica offers a whole range of modern kitchen equipment. The expo has smart and colourful potli pouches, big sized rings and tinted brass bangles, costume jewellery and colourful Tanjore paintings.

Director and CEO of iicf Umesh Chandra Pandey said that this is the first time the exhibition was being organised in a hotel. In the past it was held on the grounds of Andhra University. The fair was inaugurated by the managing director of Varun Group V. Prabhu Kishore. The fair will continue till Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
