Congress leaders organise praja hita yatra

As part of the ongoing Congress Praja Hita Yatra, APCC general secretary Dronamraju Srinivas toured a few wards in the Visakha South constituency.

On Tuesday, he went around the 26{+t}{+h}Ward.

He interacted with residents on the 75 feet Road Ramakrishna Theatre Junction to Majid Road, Kallu Pakalu, Gajula Veedhi, Durgalamma Gudi Road and surrounding areas. Accompanied by Congress ward president M. Gowri Shankar, mahila ward president Eswarammaa, Muslim Minority Cell member Jahanghir, Congress Party BC cell chairman Konathala Srinivasa Rao, Seva Dal chariman Bommidi Gangadhar, Gedda Srinu, Pala Gangadhar, Ramu, Ramanamma, Peda Muthy, Ramesh and Shiva, he enquired about the problems being faced by the residents.

Civic woes

Apart from taking note of issues like drinking water supply, sanitation, monthly pensions for disabled and supply of rations, among others, the former Visakha South MLA urged the residents to submit a petition on their needs to the officials with intimation to him so that he could follow it through.
