September 25, 2013 12:47 pm | Updated June 02, 2016 02:58 pm IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

All commercial establishments must be brought under D&O trade licence, Municipal Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana said.

He said lists of the businesses were not furnished to him though it was asked a month ago.

Assistant medical officers and sanitary inspectors should certify that all establishments were under D&O trade licence.

He said following allegations that money was being collected, third party verification would be ordered.

Anti-larvae operations

He asked biologist Mani to tone up anti-larvae operations and biometric attendance should be implemented to malaria workers.

Action should be taken against sanitary inspectors appointed for Wards 33 and 34 if they did not join duty.
