Competition on environmental protection

To bring environmental issues like global warming, melting glaciers, sea level rise and climate change to the fore; Green Climate along with its women’s wing is hosting drawing and painting competition to mark the World Environment Day. Participants are grouped into two categories – juniors (Classes IV to VII) and seniors (Classes VIII to X). With the theme being ‘environment protection’, the contest will be held on June 1 at Visakhapatnam Public Library from 8:30 a.m. followed by screening of environmental films and prize distribution ceremony.
