‘Competency must for efficient execution of job’

Development of competency was a prerequisite for efficient execution of job, Joint Chief Inspector of Factories D. Chandrasekhar Varma said on Monday.

Speaking at a function organised by HPCL Visakh Refinery on the occasion of the World Safety Day, he said what one needed was correct mix of both internal and external competencies. It should be display of collective technology expertise.

HPCL Visakh Refinery Executive Director V.V.R. Narasimham said behind every accident, there was always a human failure, which needed to be corrected.
