City cricketer chosen for Vizzy Trophy

Md Anwar Raja, first-year BA student of Dr LB College, has been selected for South Zone University Men Cricket team and will play in the Vizzy Trophy all-India inter-zonal varsity cricket tournament to be held at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar from March 20 to March 23.

The 18-year-old all-rounder Raja’s performance for Andhra University in the South Zone Inter-University Tournament that was held in the city in January first week earned him a place in the Vizzy Trophy. G Madhu Kumar, secretary and correspondent of Dr LB College and staff members, congratulated the cricketer.
