YSRCP MLA R K Roja on Monday demanded Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to reveal the circumstances that allegedly forced him to remain inaccessible in New Delhi for more than six hours soon after his return from the U.S.
Did he meet the BJP higher ups in the backdrop of the evidence YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy submitted with regard to the pillage of funds to the tune of ₹2 lakh crore by his son Nara Lokesh and other Ministers, she asked.
Welcoming the suspension of TDP MLC Vakati Narayana Reddy following CBI raids, she wondered why he had not been stripped off the post of MLC.
Speaking to media, Ms. Roja asked why Union Minister Sujana Chowdary and Ganta Srinivas Rao, who earned the dubious distinction of being listed as defaulters by various banks, were not suspended.
Both the Ministers along with Mr. Naidu, who also had been caught red-handed in the ‘note-vote scam’, should resign from their posts on moral grounds, she demanded. How could Mr. Naidu, who proclaimed that the electoral understanding with the BJP was a historical blunder, now surrender to Prime minister Modi just to save his power?
