Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who reached the city to preside over the first Cabinet meeting, was in a relaxed mood when he arrived at the airport.

Soon after coming out of the airport, he spent a few minutes waving to the party men, identifying workers from among the crowd and asking them to come close. He shook hands and accepted garlands from them.

While going out of the airport, he saw some workers waiting for him, stopped there and accepted their greetings.

While on his way to Simhachalam to worship presiding deity Sri Varaha Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy, he waved to the people that lined up the route. After reaching the temple, he went close to the devotees waiting in the queue line and greeted them.

Before going into the temple, he had an exchange in a lighter vein with Visakhapatnam West MLA P.G.V.R. Naidu and TDP leader from Gajuwaka Harshavardhan.
