Chairman of Legislative Assembly Committee on Public Undertakings Kagita Venkata Rao on Friday said the Centre should provide required funds to the State and help it overcome its financial difficulties.
Paucity of funds
In addition to the bifurcation blues and paucity of funds the State has also witnessed several political disturbances in the past three and a half years.
The Centre should adopt a pragmatic approach to problems being faced by the State and extend all the financial aid required for the construction of the new capital city and the contentious Polavaram project.
As promised the Centre should also immediately release the financial package without hurting the sentiments of the people of the State.
The committee, he said, is pledged in submitting an authentic report to the State government.
There is no place for any kind of corruption. After all, it is our duty to provide healthy suggestions to the State in improving financial conditions of the public undertakings.
So far we have not come across any major fault during our review meetings pending audit reports from certain quarters.
