Central team to visit villages

A central team comprising 30 civil services officials is reaching here to monitor implementation of welfare schemes in rural areas.

According to Collector M. Veerabrahmaiah, the team divided into six batches would visit Nidagallu, Regidi, Tikkabai, Koonaivalasa, Nemalam and Garbham villages from October 23 to 31.

Mandal-level officials have been asked to assist the team members. On the first day, it would review village administration, sanitation and drinking water; second day: Indira Kranthi Pathakam and MGNREGP; third day: schools and hostels; fourth day: inspection of village; fifth day: Sakshar Bharat, agriculture and animal husbandry; sixth day: anganwadis and on the last day: housing and job guarantee schemes.

Later, it would participate in the district-level review meeting, according to a release.
