A Central team from New Delhi that saw a presentation on the progress of works and mandatory and optional reforms by GVMC at a JNNURM meeting in Hyderabad on Thursday expressed satisfaction, according to Municipal Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana who made the presentation.

This would pave the way for release of 10 per cent funds for completed projects held over for not fulfilling the reforms, he said in a statement.

The Central team stressed the importance of expediting the projects in general and that of 24X7 water supply scheme in particular.
