Cash-snatching: police release portrait of accused

Police on Sunday released identikit picture of a person involved in the snatching of a suitcase containing Rs.13 lakh from a cash van from near Axis Bank at Dwarakanagar in the city on Saturday.

The picture of the person who diverted the attention of the van driver and the custodian was drawn based on their description.

Fourth Town Circle Inspector Penta Rao said in a statement that the picture was sent to all the police offices in the State asking them to verify whether anyone bearing resemblance had been arrested in any case.
