Spreading the message: Students of Sanketika Engineering College at a ‘flash mob’ to create awareness against drug abuse, in the city on Sunday.

Students of Sanketika Vidya Parishad Engineering College gave a social and educative performance at CMR Central in Maddilapalem on Sunday. The ‘flash mob’ was aimed at campaigning against drugs. It is a prelude to ‘Sanketh-2K13’ to be organised on the college premises on March 14 and 15. College secretary and correspondent S.V.H. Rajendra, dean G. Anantha Ram, principal Y. Prasanna Kumar, and faculty participated. It drew the attention of people.

KIND initiative

Knowledge to Initiate New Developments (KIND) organised a campaign against drugs at the ongoing NCC camp at Meghadripeta. Several NCC cadets participated. Camp Commandant G.V.S. Rao asked youth to identify supply points and destroy them besides informing the police.
