The Pratyeka Hodha Vibhajana Hameela Sadhana Samithi has called upon the people to participate in blockade of the National Highways in the State on Thursday a success and thereby exert pressure on the Centre to honour the promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act.
Addressing the gathering at a meeting at Anakapalle near here on Wednesday, Mr. Chalasani Srinivas underlined the need for unity among all political parties to achieve the demand for Special Category Status (SCS) and other promises made in the Act. He said political parties, which do not join the struggle for SCS, would be taught a lesson by the voters in the next elections.
