Bohras take out procession

A colourful procession was taken out by Dawoodi Bohras of Anjuman-E-Badri in the city, to express their love and affection to His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS), from Dabagardens to Dolphin junction and back on the eve of his birthday on Saturday.

Aamil Saheb and other community leaders participated in the procession. MLA T. Vijay Kumar joined the procession.

The Dawoodi Bohras all over the world would celebrate the 99{+t}{+h} birthday of Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin on Sunday.

This year Dr. Syedna would be in Mumbai and thousands of Dawoodi Bohras from all over India and other parts of the world including the Middle East, Far East, North America, Europe and Africa would converge in Mumbai to offer greetings and seek the blessings of His Holiness.

On the auspicious day of His birthday, the community members would gather at the respective Masjids and community centres to listen to Dr. Syedna' s discourse that would be telecast live in every city and town of India and the world where Dawoodi Bohras reside.
