Birth anniversary of ex-MP observed

A mega blood donation camp was organised on Monday to mark the 82nd birth anniversary of former MP P. Appala Narasimham.

Over 800 persons donated blood at the camp, organised in association with NTR Blood Bank, at Gopalapatnam.

Earlier, his son and Government Whip P.G.V.R. Naidu garlanded the statue of Appala Narasimham at Diamond Park and distributed clothes to the poor.

MLA P. Govinda Satyanarayana, former MLA S.A. Rahman, Symbiosis Technologies CEO O. Naresh Kumar and TDP leader C.M.A. Zaheer Ahmed participated.
