Syam Babu, Parish Priest of St. Peter's Cathedral Antony Puthussery, Head Mistress of St. Peter's High School Rev. Sr. Vijaya Mary, Head Mistress of St. Peter's Elementary School Rev. Sr. Sandra, president of Parish Pastoral Council Rajesh Babu, Ravindra of Essar company, president of District Basketball Association T.S.R. Prasad, secretary B. Ramayya, and others attended.
The function was a colourful affair and was attended by a large number of pupils of the school and residents of Gnanapuram. The Basketball Association felicitated retired PET of St. Peter's High School P. Mariya Das and international boxer G.V. Nagarjuna.
An exhibition match was played after the court was inaugurated.
