The Rs.500 and Rs.200 tickets for ‘nijarupa darshan’ of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy, the presiding deity of Simhachalam, on Chandanotsavam day will be available at various bank branches, besides the devasthanam petrol bunk and its information office atop Simhachalam hill.
According to Executive Officer K. Ramachandra Mohan, the tickets for the ‘utsav’ in the early hours of May 2 will be available from April 26 onwards. They will be sold at the following branches:
Andhra Bank: Simhachalam, Visakhapatnam Main Branch at Town Kotha Road, Dwarakanagar, Andhra University, Steel Plant Township, Akkayyapalem, Maharanipet, Waltair, Sitammadhara, Pithapuram Colony, Gajuwaka, East Point Colony, KGH, Muralinagar, Madhurawada, and Port.
State Bank of India: Simhachalam, Maharanipet, Visakhapatnam Main Branch, Gopalapatnam, Dondaparthi, and Gajuwaka.
AP Grameena Vikas Bank: Adavivaram, Sitammadhara, China Mushidivada, Baji Junction, MVP Colony, Ramnagar, Akkayyapalem, and Daba Gardens.
Indian Bank: Gopalapatnam and Lankavanipalem.
State Bank of Hyderabad: Prahladapuram.
Axis Bank: Gopalapatnam.
