Bank launches e-lobby at Vadlapudi

RINL Director (Finance) V.V. Venugopal Rao on Monday inaugurated e-lobby and renovated premises of Vadlapudi branch of Bank of Baroda located in steel plant area. BoB Deputy General Manager and regional head M. Seshagiri Rao made the first transaction through ATM in the e-lobby.

Mr. Venugopala Rao planted a sapling to mark the silver jubilee of the Vadlapudi branch also known as steel plant branch of BoB.

Speaking on the occasion, he said major initiatives in the financial sector like demonetisation and GST had been successfully implemented. “Though the technology takes care of the process, it is the software mindset of the branch which creates miracles” he said underlining the need for net banking and core banking operations.

He complimented the management and staff of Vadlapudi branch for their hard work in renovating the branch and following a customer-friendly approach.

Mr. Seshagiri Rao highlighted the significant progress achieved by BoB since its inception, 110 years ago. BoB is among the first set of few banks to be nationalised in 1969 and it has the widest network abroad with its operations set up in 25 countries spread over five continents

He said the branches of the bank were being upgraded under ‘Nav Nirman Process’ with more focus on customer satisfaction.

DGM Shailendra Singh, Chief Manager Dinesh Pratap and others were present.
