Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) 2012 for admission into post-graduate and some under-graduate courses of Andhra University and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (Etcherla, Srikakulam) will be conducted in nine cities from April 26 to 28. Some tests will be conducted only here on April 30 and also at Vijayawada and Kakinada on May 1.
AUCET 2012 will be conducted at Visakhapatnam (GVP College, MVP Colony; Dr. L. Bullayya College and Dr. V.S. Krishna Govt. Degree College); Srikakulam (Govt. Degree College for Men; Vizianagaram (MR College for Men); Kakinada (Ideal College of Arts and Sciences PG Courses, Vidyut Nagar); Rajahmundry (Govt. College); Eluru (Sir C.R.R. College PG Courses); Bhimavaram (DNR College); Vijayawada (Satavahana College, Seetarampuram) and Guntur (AC College).
Hall tickets have been despatched to the eligible candidates and those who have not received can download the same from the websites www.andhrauniversity.info/doa, www.aucet.sssolutions.co.in or www.aueet.sssolutions.co.in, informed Director of AU Directorate of Admissions O. Aniel Kumar.
Tests in computer science and statistics, food nutrition and dietetics, geology, geography, marine living resources, human genetics, history, MJMC, fine arts, Sanskrit, sociology, M.P.Ed. and philosophy will be held in Visakhapatnam only on April 30. Tests for admission into five-year integrated dual degree programmes and B.Engg. (aircraft engineering) and B.E. (electro-mechanical engineering) will be held in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Vijayawada centres on May 1.
Since the number of applications received for HRD and psychology (test Nos. 209 and 215) is less than 200, the tests will be conducted in Visakhapatnam. Similarly admission test for five-year integrated MS programmes in sciences (test No. 501 for applied chemistry and geology) and arts (test No. 502 for economics) will also be held here.
Test Nos. 511 and 512 for the five-year dual degree programmes in engineering through AUEET 2012 will be conducted on May 1 instead of April 30 in view of the AIEEE scheduled to be held on April 29. These tests will be held at GVP College, Dr.L.B. College, Dr. V.S. Krishna Govt. College, SVVP VMC Mahila Vidyapeeth, MVP Colony and AU College of Science and Technology in Visakhapatnam; Ideal College PG courses, Kakinada and Satavahana College and Prabhas Degree College, Kedareswari Peta in Vijayawada.
Physically challenged persons, who required the help of a scribe, have to inform the Chief Superintendent of their test centre in advance.
Candidates can make corrections in their names, reservation category and other entries made in the nominal rolls and the same would be incorporated subsequently in the original data, Prof. Aniel Kumar said.
