Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao along with Dean International Affairs and Public Relations B. Mohan Venkata Ram met Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Naval Command Vice Admiral H. C. S. Bisht, at the ENC Headquarters, here on Friday.
The Vice-Chancellor while highlighting the core competencies of AU, discussed possible collaborations between the ENC and AU, on different verticals.
Prof. Nageswara Rao also spoke about AU serving the needs of higher education and training for the officers and other staff members of the ENC.
Welcome initiativeVice-Admiral Bisht, admiring the legacy of AU, welcomed the initiatives for strengthening the human capital base of ENC and said will be working for all possible collaborative avenues with AU and once the modalities are finalised an MoU can be entered.
The ENC chief also thanked the AU management for the unstinted cooperation and support extended, during the recently held International Fleet Review (IFR).
