EC decides to initiate action against former V-C

The Executive Council of Andhra University which met here on Friday decided to terminate contract employees who were appointed between 2013 and 2016

AU Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao said the PhD admissions made under the executive quota would be reviewed and admissions of those who were enrolled in violation of the rules will be cancelled.

A decision was also taken by the Council to initiate disciplinary action against former Vice-Chancellor and principals of the varsity in accordance with the varsity’s guidelines.

This apart, Prof. Nageswara Rao said show cause notices would be served on NAD Paul and S Haranadh who were absorbed into the varsity services.
