A senior research scholar of Department of Telugu of Andhra University Rambhatla Parvateeswara Sarma stood first in the Andhra Pradesh Language Pundits Common Entrance Test 2016, the ranks of which were announced here on Wednesday.
Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao, HoD of Telugu Sajja Mohana Rao, faculty members Dattatreya Sastry, Jayadev, Yohan Babu, Sudarsana Raju and Appa Rao congratulated Mr. Parvateeswara Sarma on securing the top rank in AP LP CET.
Mr. Parvateeswara Sarma has studied M.A. in Telugu and Sanskrit and secured first class in UGC NET and AP SLET. He was the youngest to perform the complicated and difficult Satavadhanam here for a period of three days to set as the youngest Satavadhani in north coastal Andhra. He has performed one Dwigunita Ashtavadhanam and 36 Ashtavadhanams, wrote books like Sri Rambhatla Venkateeyam, Modati Moggalu, Pratibha Swaralu and Satavadhana Bharati. Mr. Sarma has been conferred with titles Avadhana Sudhakara, Avadhana Bharati and Avadhana Bheema.
