Andhra University has postponed its B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. examinations scheduled to be held on Saturday in view of the call given for a State bandh by a political party. Examinations scheduled for Saturday will be conducted on September 8 and there is no change in the timing, according to a university press release.
Counselling for spot admissions to fill up vacant seats available in B.Tech., B. Pharm., Pharma D and B. Pharm (lateral entry) programmes of AU College of Engineering and AU College of Engineering for Women will be held at the office of AU Directorate of Admissions, Vijayanagar Palace, Pedda Waltair here, from 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Candidates admitted through spot admission procedure are not eligible for fee reimbursement, scholarships and other benefits, Director of Admissions O. Aniel Kumar said.
A total of 35 seats, both for MPC and BiPC streams candidates, are available in all the courses and the eligibility criteria is in tune with the EAMCET 2015 or ECET 2015 norms.
