A professor of Geology of Andhra University Prof. Nandipati Subba Rao has received recognition in Limca Book of Records’ for publishing 98 research papers mostly on environmental hydrogeology and for sharing his research findings with the general public in issues concerning environment.
Prof. Subba Rao received the communication recently from the ‘Limca Book of Records’. His papers were published in national and international journals.
He has guided nine Ph.D. scholars and three M.Phil students and has undertaken six projects sponsored by Governmental organisationsProf. Subba Rao had earlier received National Mineral Award in 2009; State Scientist Award in 2009, Vishala Bharati Gaurav Satkar in 2011, and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrisnan Award for Best Academician of the Year in 2010.
He also received Best Researcher Award in 2008 from Andhra University.
