AU EDP cell hosts event to promote innovation

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Andhra University conducted its first annual event “Audacious” on Saturday.

The event was organised by Andhra Pradesh Government Summer Fellows Ruchil Sharma and Neeraj to promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

Top 10 teams with the best business ideas have an opportunity to participate in the Smart Village Challenge, organised by the Centre for Open Innovation of the university in association with Garwood Centre for Corporate Innovation at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.

In-charge Vice-Chancellor E.A. Narayana at the valedictory wanted students to come out with their ideas and assured full support from the university. Registrar V. Uma Maheswara Rao who inaugurated the event stressed the importance of entrepreneurship.

Around 250 students from and outside the university participated in the event besides professionals from CBI- Cyber Security Division and NASSCOM, ITC, IIMnet ventures etc.
