AU EC conference hall venue for Cabinet meet

The first Cabinet meeting of the residual Andhra Pradesh will be held at the Executive Council Conference Hall in Andhra University’s Central Administrative Office here on Thursday.

This was announced by State Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao here on Tuesday night. On behalf of people of the district, the District Administration and Andhra University, he thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for choosing Visakhapatnam, the city of destiny and the most happening city, as venue for the first meeting of the Cabinet. Mr. Naidu welcomed the idea of an educational institution as the venue of the meeting and AU’s EC hall was chosen as the venue, since the TDLP meeting and his swearing in were held on the premises of educational institutions, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said.

Many important issues concerning the State and its future would be taken up by the Cabinet.
