Sandesh was keen to join the Civil Services after completing his MBBS.
He could have chosen a shorter duration course like B.Tech. but Sandesh wants to fulfil the wishes of his parents to see him as a doctor.
“Once I have gone to call on a friend at a hospital and after watching the way he is treated and the functioning of the hospital I have decided that one of my children must study medicine”, said the boy’s father Sam Enoch, working in the NAI wing of INS Kalinga.
Sandesh’s elder sister is doing B. Pharmacy in the city and his mother Sri Devi being a staff nurse at King George Hospital also prompted Sandesh to study medicine.
