As many as 1,552 bags of chemical fertilizers valued around Rs. 10.55 lakh were seized from a fertilizer shop at Payakaraopeta on Saturday night after the Vigilance Department conducted a raid following complaints that the fertilizers were being sold at a high price. Deputy Superintendent of Police (vigilance) Ramesh led the party that conducted the raid on the shop.
