Arrangements for Asilmetta flyover inauguration

Though Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s visit was not confirmed, there was a high probability of his coming to inaugurate the Asilmetta flyover on Monday and all arrangements must be made, Municipal Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana said on Friday.

All works related to the flyover, including painting, should be completed and readied for inauguration, he told officials on Friday evening.

Arrangements must be made for a public meeting and dais and galleries set up. The backdrop for the dais should be as per protocol. SHG women should be mobilised as cheques towards bank linkage would be presented. All along the route and at the venue of the meeting sanitation should be maintained and mobile toilets arranged, he instructed officials concerned.

Additional Commissioner M. Janaki, P Poornachandra Rao and Nagendra Kumar, Chief Engineer B. Jayarami Reddy, Chief Medical Officer (Health) Satyanarayana Raju, Chief City Planner S. Balakrishna, Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) R. Somannarayana, Examiner of Accounts Satyanarayana and Horticulture AD Damodara Rao were present.
